It has been just over two year since the incredible John Muir Trail hike where we raised over 25,000 dollars to go to research to find a cure for Polycythemia Vera. Thank you to all the folk who helped to realize that goal! Thanks also to all the hikers to also helped to make it happen! I have decided that it is time to hit the trail again for another fundraiser. After working like a mad woman for the last week I have, at last, finished the publishable draft (a work in progress- lots to fill in yet)of the new web site for TREK FOR A CURE 2013! Next summer I am going to hike the Tahoe to Yosemite Trail. This is a 180 mile hike that starts at Meeks Bay in Lake Tahoe and ends in Tuolumne Meadows. Check out the new web site- www.trekforacure.com. Tom Killion has generously allowed me to use another amazing block print image- this one is of the stunning Yosemite icon, Half Dome, from above Glacier Point. The T-shirts are coming!! Ever wonder what it was like to walk to Yosemite?
Keep it green and muddy!
